Back at the ranch...

On day 2 of our visit with the Adams, Vince showed us he knows how to dance very well. Also, christian played with Vince on the swing for a while. Later, Glen and a guy he works with called and told us a cow was stuck in the water. We went and watched them rope it and pull it out of the water. It was a fun day.

This is the cow that was stuck.

So they had to rope her.

And pull her out of the water.
We watched from the bed of the pickup.

It got really back standing in the sun.

They ended up pulling the cow's horn off.

The horn that came off.

Vince wanted to drive us home but was distracted by Glen's cowboy hat.

Vince was really tired after all that hard work.

Christian and I have been staying at Glen & Denise's house over by Crane, OR. We've been doing lots of cowboy stuff and playing with Vince. Christian had a good time with Glen when they went bow-hunting for carp the other night. They both shot 2 fish each. I would've taken pictures of Christian and the fish he caught but my camera happened to die just after I took the 1st picture of him. He caught a really big one though. It was over 15 pounds!

A good day for a wedding...

We went to Washington for our friends Derrick & Stephanies' wedding. We were only gone for 1 night, but it was fun to see them. We rode with Randy & Kiah. We stayed at Hartley's house with Kory & Rebecca, and Tyler & Brette. We're staying at my mom's house for another week. Denise and Vince were at my Mom's house all week and Glen came on Saturday night.

Spencer, Logan, Kellen, Tyler, Brette, Derrick, Stephanie, Christian, Me, Randy, Kiah, Kory, Rebecca at the wedding reception. Stephanie looked so so pretty!

Vince was eating powdered donuts. He looks like a turtle in this one!

Our little home...

Last week, both mine and Christian's moms came to Rexburg. They helped us move out of our apartment into a tiny little house. We have our own backyard with a firepit, shed, and a pond (although the pond is FULL of pine needles.) Our living room is combined with our kitchen, and then we just have our bedroom with the smallest bathroom I've ever seen. It's really cute though! Especially the 80 year old wallpaper. It's clean here though unlike our last apartment that smelled like a mixture of butt and bad breathe. We got internet today! Wooo! Oh, and a HUGE thankyou to Stacy & Julene (our moms) for helping us clean and move. And for buying us things and feeding us. Moms are the best. The house is really cute and cozy. We love it!

This is our new house we're renting!

This is what you see when you walk in the front door.

The view from one end to the other. It's about 10 steps.

Our bedroom. It's a good size considering the house is made for midgets/gremlins/hobbits.

Our bathroom. The door hits the toilet.

School's out forever! Well...for 7 weeks at least!

Finally we finished summer semester! This is where we brag and tell you how we both got straight A's...we were our teachers favorites...we got 110% on all of our finals...yes, all of the above is very true. But really, we worked our butts off this semester and we finally get to put our feet up and relax. We start fall semester Sept. 10th...so we get a nice long break. Anyways, while I was at work today Christian suprised me and cooked an awesome dinner. He made sticky rice and some marinated chicken with veggies. It was delicious! I think he should cook more often.

After we ate dinner and sat around for awhile, we decided to go for a ride on our scooter. We headed to Jamba Juice and on the way it started pouring. Not just raining...or trickeling...but a complete down pour. Christian pulled over under a tree cause he couldn't see where he was going so I took over and drove while he put his face behind my back safe from the wind and rain. I was so brave. We made it to Jamba, and when we walked in the people working just started laughing. It looked like we just jumped into a swimming pool. We still got Jamba even though we were freezing, and yes, I drove us home.

Egin Lakes

It was hot this weekend so we went with some friends to Egin Lakes. Afterwards, we went and ate at Wingers. The water was really warm. We also played water baseball with a stick and a golf ball.

The group: Christian, Ryann, Shane, Carissa, Sarah, Natalie, Jen, Trevor

Happy Birthday Christian

Christian turned 24 this last week. So in honor of his Birthday, we had a BBQ with some friends at our place. I made invitations and everything. For the BBQ we had BBQ-pulled beef sandwiches, chinese chicken salad, chips and homeade salsa, and ice cream and cake. It was fun! My favorite part was giving him his presents. I got him a scooter!!!!!!!!!! Okay well, I guess he probably kinda paid for it....but I like to say that it was from me. So yes, we have a scooter now! I really did give him some Toms Shoes, a new belt and wallet, socks, and some new clothes. It was a really fun day!

The invitations:

Opening his Tom's Shoes! He's always wanted them and I'd always say, "No....they're just too expensive." I bought them along time ago...I just didn't want him going and buying them for himself!

With his Birthday cake!
