This REALLY happened

Dear Mythbusters,

Remember that episode where you said it was IMPOSSIBLE to shoot an arrow directly into the back of another arrow?

You need to meet my husband. Christian Hulme aka Robin Hood.

He did it in his archery class last week. When he came home he told me, "Glen (brother-in-law) is going to be so proud of me!"

Impressive, huh?

Feeling sick

I really don't like this waiting game. Christian finished his grad school applications and now we do the hardest part... we wait. "Where are we going? Where are we going to live? How are we supposed to find housing in a few weeks? How will we move all of our stuff?" It's all I think about all day, everyday. I get sick to my stomach because I have no idea where we're going. We'd like to think we're going to Arizona...but we have to wait and see.

He's applied to:

Arizona State University (4 weeks til we hear)

University of Utah (6-8 weeks)

CalPoly Pamona (6-8 weeks)

University of Oregon (6-8 weeks)

Colorado University Denver (Not sure...probably 6-8 weeks)

Someone please give me some heavy meds to keep my anxiety under control. I just want to know. Even if it's a NO from Arizona, at least I know and I don't have to continue to guess. But we really hope it's a YES.

Did you celebrate?

We did.

It's a big deal.
So we celebrated.
We had pastrami sandwiches.
We watched a slide show all about pastrami.
We watched a video on how to properly carve pastrami.
It was a fantastic day.
I feel really sorry for those who didn't celebrate.

Christmas!

We went to Colorado for Christmas this year. We waited to celebrate Christmas though because Scott came home from his mission on December 29th so we did Christmas on December 30th. Seph's family was there too so we had so much fun with the whole family. It hadn't snowed yet in Colorado until the morning of our Christmas celebration. I'm not sure if that was a good or a bad thing. I'm not a fan of the snow, however, on Christmas I might be okay with that. It was so fun to watch Eliot open her presents. The first one she grabbed she walked around the living room saying, "I wonder what it could be!"

And she loved the snow!

We love this baby!

We got spoiled on Christmas. We got clothes, movies, gift cards and tons of other great stuff. I got new dishes which I love. They're super cute. Christian got the Harry Potter series.

Christian got me this great trunk for Christmas. I love it!

After I took the paper bow off, he kept telling me to open it for another suprise. He decopaged a huge picture of us on the inside and wrote a big message onto the wood. It was so special. I'm one lucky girl. But I didn't like the fact that it made me cry like a baby in front of his family on Christmas.

Oh! And my parents got us a flip camera. It's so much fun! I'll post video later!
ALSO, while in Colorado we took Hulme family pictures. I'll post those too when we get them!

Christmas Eve

I'm really behind but here's my post from Christmas Eve.

We were in Colorado for Christmas this year. On Christmas Eve, we went with Doug & Stacy to the Trail of Lights. It was really cool. We got to walk around and see lots of pretty christmas lights. They even had some tree houses designed by local architects that Christian really enjoyed.
