You've let me down Colorado...

How did the weather go from this? (last night)

To this? All within about 15 hours?

Christian's weapon of choice: THE SNOW BLOWER.

Ryann's weapon of choice: THE DUAL-ACTION SNOWSTICK.
Who won? Well, after I finished scraping the cars and Christian finished blowing the driveway, you couldn't even tell. There's about a thousand feet of snow outside right now. So instead, we stayed in.....
and......
did........
this:
Stacy bought us a kitchen table and chairs for our new apartment. We were going to paint it black today when Christian asked if he could put a purple Volcom stone on the table and chairs. Why not? So here's our table in progress.

Christian cut out different sized stones out of tape.

They look pink on here, but their a cool purple. We'll post more pictures after the entire project is finished.

Our weekend...

This last weekend we had lots of fun. On Friday, we flew to Boise. On the flights, Christian entertained us (and some children sitting around us) by making squirrels out of dollar bills. Pretty cool huh?

We flew in to Boise at 1:00 and Chelsey and Jake's sealing was at 2:00, so we had just enough time to run through the drive through at McDonalds. We're probably their #1 customers. Don't judge us. Their sealing was really cool and they looked so happy together. Chelsey looked so beautfiul as she always does. Her dress was really pretty too. After the sealing we went to Val's for dinner and then Christian and I stayed at Randy and Kiah's house.

On Saturday, my Dad took Christian, Glen, JD, and Randy to Fast Lane in Boise for some indoor go-karting. They had lots of fun and stunk like exhaust when they came back. They said Randy won every race because he's the smallest. They did 3 races with 23-25 laps per race.
While the boys were having fun, I went shopping with Denise, Kiah, and Rebecca (and baby McKee of course.) After some shopping we had lunch at Olive Garden. It was alot of fun.

Saturday night was the reception. It looked so cute! The food was great too! It was fun to see Genniel and Chelsey again.

Christian and I at the reception. I held McKee alot and tons of people thought Christian and I suddenly had a baby. Actually it is our baby....we just hired Denise to hide our secret.

Taylor and I hanging out and the reception. It's always so fun to see her and you're guaranteed to be laughing about 105% of the time you're with her.

I made this collage of pictures for Chelsey. It's not super cute, but it's cool cause theirs 10 different pictures of Chels, Genniel and I from all different ages. I love these girls and I'm so lucky to have been able to grow up with them!

And this has nothing to do with our weekend, but I tried to do a vintage looking canvas of Christian and I. It turned out pretty sloppy so I put a picture towards the middle on pop-up dots that way it's a clear picture sticking out and then the rest are all raggidy looking.

And then there was 1...

Tomorrow, (Friday) Christian and I fly to Boise just in time to make it to Chelsey and Jake's wedding. Chelsey is my cousin whom I grew up with. Her and Genniel (our other cousin) were always my very best friends growing up. The 3 of us were inseperable. I loved being within 2 miles of them both and hanging out with them constantly. Now that Chelsey and I are going to be married, Genniel...? You're next. No pressure.

These pictures are all from Summer 2007, but they're the only ones I had on my computer. I'll be sure to get a new picture with them at home this weekend!

Leavings, Goings, and Comings

I had lots of fun going home this past weekend. I flew in on Thursday, and then stayed at Denise's house from Friday-Sunday, then we were all back at my moms for Monday. I was sad that Christian had to stay in Colorado to work. But it's okay, cause Vince was my buddy all weekend. Here's a few things me and Vince did.

1. Climbed up the crib so Vince could say, "I did it!"

2. Held, kissed, rubbed faces with, and slobbered on McKee.

3. Watched McKee sleep. At one point, Denise and I found crumbled up Goldfish and Granola Bars on McKee's pillow. Vince thought he might be hungry.

4. Ate lots of cupcakes. Also, Vince would inform me to be quiet when the baby was sleeping.

5. Took lots of naps in the warm sun.

6. Took 1,000 baths.

7. Played outside, even when it was only 35 degrees out.

8. Watched Robin Hood 3 times in a row.

9. Practiced saying, "Heeeeyyy baaayyy-beeeeeee."

10. Argued about whether my name is Ryann or Randy. Vince will only call me "Wandy." When the real Randy came over on Sunday night, Vince just called both of us "Wandy."

It was great spending time at Glen and Denises's house with Vince and McKee. Hopefully next time I go, Christian can go with me.

Christian picked me up from the airport yesterday. He didn't have to go back to work, so we drove to the RedRock Ampitheater and walked around a bit. It was lots of fun to go, but I'm very glad to be back home with Christian...even if it is cold and snowy.

Valentine's Day Celebrations

Christian and I celebrated Valentine's day on Saturday. We had so much fun! First, I suprised him with an order of his favorite cupcakes from Cakes Amore here in Littleton. He was very excited for these. It didn't matter that it was 10 in the morning, he was still going to eat some.

(And yes...his beard is back!) Then we gave each other presents. I gave him a pair of Van's shoes, but they were a half size too small. But I also made him an accordian style album that can just sit open somewhere. It's filled with pictures and notes.

Christian gave me two cd's I've been wanting. He gave me the new Phoenix and Vampire Weekend cd's. He told me he always knows what I want because he goes on to different websites and the shopping carts are always still filled with things I've pretended to purchase.
That night, we went out to eat at Jose O'Shea's. It's Christian's favorite mexican food! We both ordered the Blue Plate Special wich comes with: 1 beef taco, 1 smothered bean burrito, 1 cheese enchilada, and rice & beans. Their beans are the best beans I have ever eaten. Yummm! It was soooo delicious. And I'm not a fan of beef, but they hand make their shells so the taco is just as good as anything else on the plate! This isn't a picture of what we ordered...but this is kind of what it looked like.

On our way home, we found a Van's outlet store which was perfect because the shoes I bought Christian were too small, so he got these nice blue shoes instead.

They were buy 1 get one 1/2 off, so being the best husband in the world that he is, he let me get these shoes which were only $7.00. When we went into the store, the male employees were making fun of us because we were already wearing matching Vans...then we left with these. They thought we were crazy and tried to match everything. What can I say? We're just the same people inside and out....well....kind of.

Really?

Women over the age of 30 actually using their Facebook accounts to update the world on their marital problems?

Really?

Drumroll please...

I have landed my dream job. I am now a personal scrapbooker! I get to sit at my work station, scrapbook, and drink vanilla coke all day long. It's the best. Well, okay, just this week I'm a personal scrapbooker for a neighbor. But still. This is what I want to do the rest of my life. And hey, I should get some credit for having a job for a week...right?
